Darfur

Right, I just had a thought. We can do something to stop genocide, but it isn't really the best way to go about things usually. Most of the time, stopping violence with violence is wrong. However, this is a different case, a different situation. Maybe we should fight those who are destroying lives. Just setting up medical facilities and sending money for food and cloths isn't really enough, is it? I mean, if they have cloths and food, that's just more they'll lose when they're attacked, innit? Prohaps we ignore the whole ordeal in Iraq, which should've been done originally, and just send the troops to Western Sudan? It'll get things done quite a bit quicker. It'll benefit many in many ways. I don't know, just a random thought I had.

Oh, Johnny

Oh, Johnny went to Germany
He Sailed of a ship across the sea
To Face off with a Nazi
In attempt to set the Jews free
Johnny, even though Hitler needed to stop
Remember the bomb we had to drop
On Hiroshima, why not him?
Should’ve taken him out from the beginning
All angry because he was chemically blind
Propaganda spread to the mind
Fight to live, most chose the winning side
Years later, do they have any pride?
Oh, Johnny, though you never came back
You did what was right, that’s a fact
Yet, your son has more than just your name
But this is the government at the blame
Oh, Johnny, you left your son alone
Just think of the trauma you’ve done
Oh, Johnny, I think you must be blind
Just think of what you’ve left behind
Oh, Johnny enlisted, went to Vietnam
Said bye to his son, wife, and mom
We tried to take it by a storm
Instead, the Vietminh took his arm
Oh, Johnny, what’ve you done
In attempt to stop Communism
Should’ve talked when we had the chance
Because, Johnny, never again will you dance
On the trip to a camp for medical supplies
Your team ran into a trap and caught you by surprise
With a punji stick through the leg, running as fast as you can
Purple Heart, sent back home, where no one will understand
Poor and homeless on the streets
Begging at people’s feet
You left your family so they left you
Johnny, you fought a war that wasn’t true
Oh, Johnny, you left your son alone
Just think of the trauma you’ve done
Oh, Johnny, I think you must be blind
Just think of what you’ve left behind
Oh, Johnny, you fight like your dad
You fight like your grandfather, too
Reaction to a terrorist attack
A worthy cause, it’s true
Then re-station in Iraq
For liquid in the ground so black
And trying to get back
For what happened to a tyrants dad
Oh, Johnny, you were noble,
Oh, Johnny, you had honor
But Iraq wasn’t worth the trouble
Oh, Johnny, you’re a goner
Johnny, another son at home
Not taught peace and compassion
Next time trouble knocks on the door
Johnny, your son will die in a pointless war
Oh, Johnny, you left your son alone
Just think of the trauma you’ve done
Oh, Johnny, I think you must be blind
Just think of what you’ve left behind
Oh, Johnny, you left your son alone
Just think of the trauma you’ve done
Oh, Johnny, I think you must be blind
Just think of what you’ve left behind

Purple Thoughts(Song)

In the purple room, through the smoke, you see a light

With a shadow cast, your eyes fill with fright

The smoke slowly clears, I'm in clear view

A giant purple hand goes and shoots right out of you

It grabs the chains, holding you downSnaps them, breaks them, thrown to the ground

Step through the mirror to get back to your material world

The hand goes back into your head, making it spin and twirl

Your dizzy, short breath, going to pass out

What just happened? You begin to doubt

Don't fret, don't worry, you get back to work

But the hand in your head is about to lurk

You do what you love, but your not getting any better

The skills all mastered, on the subject you are lettered

All the things you know, you have secrets rarely found

You could help others but sharing, but the message would get around

Then you'd lose the advantage you hold over others

This knowledge is the only thing making you better than those in the gutters

Your chains are broken, you've found freedom

Those stuck in competition, you don't need them

The hand reaches out, alters reality

Moving a pen on your desk that you see

Goes across the room, right to your hand

How did this happen? I'll make you understand

An ability we all have at birth

One granted when the energy is mastered

When you become the best of the best

Your chains removed and shackle up the rest

Of those trying to beat you at what you can't beat

The mirror giving you power, not allowing you to fall in defeat

Controlling natural energies with your mind's third eye

Such things disappear every time you cry

Stoic, apathy, and pendulums

Teach you how to use the power of the Woodlums

Your chains thrown on by you and others putting them there

Cast off when you meet full potential and when you stair

And the eye controls the hand, granting you unlimited power

Your mind gets stronger, growing taller than a tower

And an hourglass, grains falling slowly

Only you truly control the speed

The situations you get in, you're how you got there

Everything that could shatter the glass, it's all fair

You mind controls everything, your hand just puts it in motion

Only you and your chains keep you from becoming a commotion

© An echo from the ripple cast by the mirror

Personal chains, metallic box, no need to fear or

Lose control, minds third eye, candle lit room

Master your skill, and unravel the mystery or face your doom©

©An echo from the ripple cast by the mirror

Personal chains, metallic box, no need to fear or

Lose control, minds third eye, candle lit room

Master your skill, and unravel the mystery or face your doom©

All of your ethics, personal view on right and wrong

Every act you commit on either side is never truly gone

It echoes throughout your life

The very thing holding you back can aim you for strife

Use situations to your advantage and stand your ground

Push forward to a new stage where to happiness you are bound

Making observations of your surroundings, taking in every detail

Then the box gives you the power comparable to throwing a train off the rail

Imaginary mathematic, thrown off and erratic

Listen to the words and the metaphors or get lost in the static

What is it I'm telling you? Do your ears pick up every clue?

Every murder story I've told, did you decipher the truth?

The messages, the secrets, what I'm teaching

Hidden in the beat, to your mind it should be reaching

Now listen to the chorus, the message is before us

Ignore your lust because to get behind the mirror is a must

A decision made, water drips on the mirror

A ripple formed, spreading, getting nearer

Closer, looking like water, and from what you infer

Like a lure, but no disaster, even though it gets louder

Starts to echo, the sound of a drip

Concentrate so hard, blood falls from your lip

From you biting down from your deep thoughts

But best not cry or rust the hinges of the box

Though your head is thumping, you fear not

Because into your brain is all that you sought

And you don't exercise your right to fight

And at night, you see a light, and you try with all your might

To look away, but your going to stay

And keep your focus, your dreams getting eaten by a locus

But that won't stand in the way, but best not delay

To complete your dream is your mission so you destroy all opposition

Dressed in all black, meditation, incense, drawing mystical energy

Candles on the floor, next to the box, but what's the key?

The candles rely on you to make a fume

And a flame, in their own little room

To light the passage, a frame to the mirror, made of silver

To represent the equality that we stand for, regardless of if you're a him or her

Why that color? Because it's the one the locus doesn't accept

They're always filled with hate and war, wanting to dissect

You because you're a little different.

That's death, that's what they meant

So this is another mystery stuck in rhyme

Figure it out and Earth will be more than fine

First Time

This is the first time I've posted a public blog. This is actually the first blog I've had in quite some time. I don't think I'll be using it on the regular, but I'll be using it when I remember.
